Sgraffito House
It was extended in the 18th-19th centuries and its façade was rebuilt in the Baroque style. The ceiling decoration of the upper room is a fresco of The Feast of Lazarus and the Rich Man from the Holy Bible. Among the owners were the Salamon family and also two families of surgeons, the Haász and Baumann families. The appearance of the house has been preserved for centuries. Géza Ottlik probably saw the building in its current form in 1920 when he chose the New Testament quotation for the titles of 2 chapters in his book, School at the Frontier.
